I’m a huge smoothie lover… They are quick, easy and chock full of fibre and healthy ingredients. What really floats my boat though is how smoothies taste like milkshakes. Seriously?! When I have a smoothie I feel like I’m being such a bad girl but actually, hey, turns out that good stuff can be awesome too. Why not enjoy life, hey?
So you may be asking yourself, “Gen, why Keto?” And if you are, you’re right. I’m not one for jumping on the fitness fad bandwagons. There is a lot to be said for Keto though and I will definitely be writing more about that in the future. Right now though, I want you to enjoy life and I want you to concentrate on feeling good about yourself and sitting down to a good smoothie. MOJITOS FOR BREAKFAST!
THE SUPER GREEN MOJITO SMOOTHIE
¼ Avocado (Blah, blah, blah… Just try it, trust Gen!)
A big fat scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 eentsy-weentsy scoop of greens powder (If you have – or leave it out – no worries!)
A dash of vanilla extract (If you have… Again, don’t panic if you have to leave it out)
A handful of fresh mint leaves
Juice of one lime
¾ Cup of water
Drop in 3-4 ice cubes
Blend until fantastic 🙂
